Das Gigabyte Aorus Z490 Xtreme Waterforce nutzt wieder Wasserkühler für CPU, VRM und Chipsatz. Zudem sind mindestens drei M.2 Steckplätze vorhanden. Beim Netzwerk ist immer WiFi 6 vorhanden und 10G. Auch Thunderbolt 3 schafft es bei allen Platinen in die Ausstattung, dreimal direkt auf die Platine, einmal per Zusatzkarte.
